Every photo below is a Cantik client, treated by Liza James with precision thermocoagulation in South Surrey. All photographs are unedited and published with each client's consent. Individual results vary, and some concerns require more than one treatment. Where there is any uncertainty, Liza will not treat without written confirmation from your physician. Select a concern to see its results, then learn how it is treated.

AfterIndividual results vary. Moles, cysts and suspicious lesions are outside esthetic practice and are always referred to a physician or dermatologist.
Liza earned her esthetics college diploma and licence in 2000, while BC’s former Cosmetologists Act was in force; BBB has verified her diploma. Since 2003, no licence has been required to practise esthetics in BC, and “medical esthetician” (or “medical aesthetician”) is not a regulated title. BC regulates the premises instead: Cantik’s studio is inspected every year by Fraser Health.
Diagnosing skin conditions and removing moles or cysts are outside esthetic practice, medical esthetics included. These are referred to a physician or dermatologist.
Liza uses the Silhouet-Tone VascuLyse 2G®, a Health Canada-licensed device. You have the right to ask what device will be used on your skin and whether it is licensed by Health Canada.
Who will perform my treatment? What training do they hold? Is the device licensed by Health Canada? Will you refer anything outside your scope?
