I don’t believe a professional needs to know everything. I believe they need to know what they know—and have the integrity to recognize what they don’t.
I’m committed to continuing education, continually expanding my knowledge, refining my skills and staying informed in an ever-changing esthetics industry. But education also teaches us something equally important: where our scope ends.
I don’t diagnose. I don’t guess. And when something falls outside my professional expertise, I’ll tell you. When appropriate, I’ll encourage you to seek the right qualified professional—because finding the right person sooner can save years of frustration.
I also believe in supporting fellow professionals who share the same values of ethical practice, professional boundaries, continuing education and genuine care for their clients.
Because knowing when to refer is part of knowing your profession. That is the Cantik Standard.
