WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY:

Reflexology is a holistic therapy based on the principle that specific pressure points on the feet and face correspond to organs, systems, and structures throughout the body. By applying precise, targeted pressure to these reflex points, the treatment supports the body's natural ability to relax, rebalance, and restore.

Unlike massage, reflexology works through specific mapped pressure points rather than general muscle tissue — making it a precise, purposeful, and deeply effective therapy for both relaxation and overall wellbeing.

Facial Reflexology — Exclusively at Cantik Esthetics

$169 | 60 min —Target Treatment with Facial Reflexology

Facial Reflexology is incorporated into our Target Treatment and select advanced facial treatments. Performed personally by Liza James, a Certified Facial Reflexologist since 2020, precise pressure is applied to mapped reflex points on the face to support relaxation, circulation, lymphatic flow, and deep facial muscle release.

Rather than a standalone add-on, facial reflexology is thoughtfully integrated into your treatment, combining certified reflexology techniques with over 25 years of advanced esthetic expertise to enhance both skin health and overall wellbeing.

FAQ: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS-REFLEXOLOGY SURREY, BC

Is reflexology painful?
Reflexology should not be painful. Some pressure points may feel more sensitive than others depending on your individual response. Liza adjusts pressure throughout the session to ensure your comfort at all times.

What is the difference between reflexology and massage?
Reflexology works through specific mapped pressure points on the feet and face corresponding to areas throughout the body. Massage works through general muscle tissue manipulation. Both promote relaxation but through different mechanisms and with different therapeutic focuses.

What is the difference between facial reflexology and a regular facial?
A regular facial focuses on the skin surface — cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration. Facial reflexology works through specific pressure points on the face to support the body's internal systems, circulation, and lymphatic flow. When incorporated into an Advanced Facial Treatment at Cantik Esthetics, both approaches are combined for a comprehensive skin and wellness experience.

Can reflexology be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Facial reflexology is incorporated into our Target Treatment ($169 | 60 min). Foot reflexology complements foot care and pedicure treatments beautifully. The Signature Package ($135) combines both in one session. Liza will advise the best combination at consultation.

How many sessions are recommended?
Many clients experience noticeable benefits after a single session. A series of treatments spaced 1–2 weeks apart delivers the most progressive and lasting results for stress reduction, circulation, and overall wellbeing.

Is foot reflexology the same as a foot massage?
No. While both are relaxing, foot reflexology is a specific therapeutic technique using mapped pressure points corresponding to areas throughout the body. It is more precise and purposeful than a general foot massage and works through different physiological mechanisms.

Who is a good candidate for reflexology?
Most adults benefit from reflexology. Clients who are pregnant, have blood clots, foot injuries, or certain medical conditions should consult their physician before booking. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.
