Treatment Information, Booking & Clinic Policies

Before You Book

At Cantik Esthetics Skin Care, every treatment begins with a professional assessment to determine suitability and create an appropriate treatment plan. Precision, safety, and individualized care guide every appointment.

By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge they have reviewed and understood the treatment information, pricing structure, expected healing process, cancellation policy, and clinic guidelines outlined on this page.

We encourage clients to review the relevant service page or contact the clinic prior to booking if they have questions regarding treatment suitability or expectations.

All thermocoagulation treatments are performed using the Silhouet-Tone VascuLyse 2G, a Health Canada–registered radio frequency (RF) device used for precision cosmetic skin treatments.

Treatment Overview

Thermocoagulation is a non-invasive cosmetic esthetic procedure used to improve the appearance of benign skin irregularities, including skin tags, milia, seborrheic keratoses, cherry angiomas, and select brown spots.

Treatment is performed using controlled radio frequency (RF) energy applied with a sterile, single-use precision tip. The procedure does not involve cutting, needles, or surgical instruments.

Each appointment is booked in time-based sessions. The number of lesions treated depends on size, location, complexity, and treatment response. A single complex lesion may require the full appointment time, while multiple smaller lesions may be treated in one session.

Comfort & Procedure Notes

Client comfort is prioritized. Cooling or topical numbing options may be used when appropriate. Sensitivity during treatment is normal and varies between individuals.

As a licensed esthetician certified in thermocoagulation, I do not administer injectable anesthetics, prescription medications, or medical pain management.

Consultation & Treatment Planning

Each client receives an individualized assessment prior to treatment. Skin characteristics, lesion type, and treatment goals are reviewed to determine suitability.

In some cases, additional areas may be identified during treatment and may require extended time or follow-up sessions.

If a lesion appears atypical or outside the scope of cosmetic esthetics, medical evaluation may be recommended prior to treatment.

Healing & Aftercare

Temporary redness, sensitivity, darkening, or light crusting may occur following treatment as part of the normal healing process.

Healing timelines vary based on skin type, treatment area, and individual response.

Aftercare instructions are provided after each appointment and should be followed closely to support optimal results.

Results and healing outcomes cannot be guaranteed and vary between individuals.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date health information, including any changes to medications, medical conditions, or skin concerns prior to treatment.

Professional Standards

All treatments are performed by Liza James, a licensed esthetician certified in thermocoagulation, operating strictly within the scope of cosmetic esthetics.

Cantik Esthetics Skin Care does not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical treatment, or perform mole removal.

Each client is assessed prior to treatment to determine suitability. If a lesion appears atypical or outside the scope of cosmetic esthetics, medical evaluation may be recommended before treatment proceeds.
